Dr Roel Brienen

Roel is a Research Fellow in the School of Geography. Roel’s research focuses on the impact of climate change on tropical forests using novel techniques to reconstruct historical changes. In particular Roel uses tree rings and stable isotopes to examine the response of forests to changes in atmospheric composition and the hydrological cycle.
