Dr Thomas Sloan

Thomas is Forest Science and Policy Fellow, part of the UBoC supported team in the School of Earth and Environment. Thomas’ background is in studying how land use management affects carbon storage, and he is interested in using interdisciplinary paleoecological approaches to address current conservation questions. His PhD in Environmental Geography was awarded by the University of York in 2021. Thomas provides scientific support across multiple projects funded by UBoC.
